Welcome to Carnival Day on Camp TV! Zach invites everyone to join in on the fun, big or small, short or tall. Even dogs can come and play!
This is Me – The Greatest Showman
One Voice Children’s Choir performs “This is Me” from The Greatest Showman.
Becoming a Puppet
Turn yourself into a puppet! Learn about ensemble puppeteering with Spencer Lott from New Victory Theater and make a puppet show with your friends, just like Spencer does with his friends Veronica and America.
Theme of the Day – Time Warp Day
Zach found a time machine and got zapped to caveman times way in the past! Travel with him back to the present for Camp TV’s Time Warp Day.
Homemade instrument
Join Mr. Hines as he makes instruments out of recycled material! Drum on old jars and cans, strum on rubber bands, and make an oboe out of a straw. Experiment and find out how to make different noises and pitches.
Everybody Wants Freedom
Starr sings a freedom song and Seth plays guitar in this clip from Carnegie Hall. Sing along with her and give freedom to people and places in your life by changing the lyrics and making them your own.
Make Instruments at Home
Learn how to make an instrument out of a string and other supplies around your house, and gain a deeper understanding of pitch and tone. Damian Quiñones from Lincoln Center shows us how he makes music around his house. Just strum and enjoy!
Making Instruments with Natural Materials
Make drumsticks out of nature to “play” your environment. Mr. Hines from New York Philharmonic makes drumsticks from old trees and rocks, creating different sounds all around him! What music will you make?
Theme of the Day – Unicorn Day
Magic is in the air when Mia finds a flying unicorn dancing on a double rainbow at camp! The sparkles and cupcakes can only mean one thing: It’s Unicorn Day at Camp TV.
Narwhal Dance
Narwhals are the unicorns of the sea, so be just like a narwhal with this dance from the National Dance Institute. Yakir plays piano as Jessi Colón teaches moves where you crack the ice, grow your tusk, and come together as a narwhal family.
